The Borderlands of Britannia is a mythic historical fantasy series by Australian author Dana Birkmour, set in second-century Roman Britain. Beginning near Hadrian's Wall, it follows Romans and Britons caught between empire, culture, belief and the very real gods of their world.

The Borderlands of Britannia imagines the cultural collision of the Roman frontier through the beliefs of the people living there. Roman religion meets Celtic belief; local gods encounter imported ones; and mythology emerges through people, places and cultures rather than sitting apart from the history.

Across the series, gods including Brigantia, Cernunnos, Fortuna and Arawn are reimagined within a world shaped by borders, transformation, memory and belief.
